Junior QA Automation Engineer - Kharkiv/remote

We are looking for a Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our team and work full time (Kharkiv/remote).

Skills:

– Understanding of the development processes and software lifecycle
– Theoretical knowledge base in software testing
– Knowledge of Agile methodology
– Understanding the client-server architecture
– Knowledge of automation testing frameworks Ruby/Rspec/Capybara or Java/TestNG/Selenium or JS/Mocha/Chai/Selenium/Cypress.
OOP experience
– Experience in building locators XPATH/CSS
– Experience in setting up CI/CD (continuous integration vs continuous delivery vs continuous deployment)
– API testing experience
– Experience in writing Unit tests
– Knowledge of how to automate as per manual TCs (how to split or merge testing scenarios)
– Be ready to perform manual testing (explain why it is mandatory for automation testers)
– Knowledge of what tests should be automated the first
– Good communication skills
– Team player
– At least Intermediate english level



Responsibilities:

– Writing manual test cases, checklists and verification matrix
– Features analysis
– Ad-hock testing
– Smoke manual and automated testing
– Regression manual and automated testing
– Developing test reports for the customer
